The actual Lotus F1 racing machine was unveiled yesterday at the Pavilion Kuala Lumpur's main concourse area yesterday.
Kuala Lumpur, 30 March 2010. Kicking off the F1 season in Sepang Malaysia, Lotus Racing held a homecoming celebration at the Pavilion Kuala Lumpur where all three drivers – Jarno Trulli, Heikki Kovalainen and Fairuz Fauzy – unveiled the stunning green-and-yellow Lotus Cosworth T127 for the first time to their adoring Malaysian fans. I find the team colors a little bit garish for a race car. That’s just me. But who am I to complain if they can do the job they were designed to do – to win races! So far they have been doing quite a good job. The recent 13th placing by Heikki Kovalainen at the just concluded Melbourne Grand Prix augured well for this brand-new outfit. Hopefully the team could bring more racing honor to the country and market the Malaysian brand far and wide.
