For its Autumn/Winter 2012 collection, Chopard celebrates the combination between the refined design of glasses and high jewellery creations of the Swiss Maison. Inspired by the exclusive details of the IMPERIALE watch collection, the 2012 eye wear collection focuses on a feminine, elegant, modern and timeless collection where elegance is conveyed by the combination between simplicity and exclusivity. The fine curved DAUPHINE hands typical of Chopard’s Imperiale watches are reproduced in the form of ornaments on the temples.
Autumn/Winter 2012 eye wear line by Ermenegildo Zegna, is the result of a design that enhances clean and essential lines. Classic aviator shapes prevail in metal models alongside retro-inspired acetates, exclusive materials are expertly integrated, variants of polarized lenses and the vibrant colors are the emphases of the new collection. The Loewe 2012 optical collection is entirely inspired by the Loewe world presented in men and women eye wear. The anagram logo is interpreted on the temples in many different ways: as a small metal detail, enameled and integrated in a small plaque, or even in a more convex version, inserted as a 3D detail: while the iconic padlock is widely used to create refined inlays. On the other hand, the 2012 sunglasses collection emphasizes the idea of a sober and contemporary range of sunglasses. Equally exciting was the Tom Ford Autumn/Winter 2012 eye wear collection which highlighted by the launch of a Special Edition Optical Collection, emphasizing on unique design and color tone of its optical frames. A pure representation of luxury, quality and class, the Special Edition Optical Collection exhibits Tom Ford’s superb craftsmanship with outstanding workmanship and special attention to details in the designs.
